Story

This image is part of a series of photos created for magazine Residence Netherlands, later published at Elle Decor France. The editorial featured 5 Dutch floral designers invited to create a bouquet with their favorite flora. The task was clear: let the old Dutch master paintings inspire them. So Renata Chede did the same, photographed those bouquets inspired on the still lives painted by Dutch masters.

Meditations

What always comes to mind when I look at this photograph is the almost incongruous pastel shades in the flowers; the fresh pinks, lilacs and yellows that give it a feeling of spring, alongside the fallen petals that suggest a more autumnal impression.
